The staff were really friendly and helpful, and deserve plenty of praise. This place has a classic, spacious look with a 19th-century feel. The chairs can be uncomfortable, especially in the rooms, so if you need to get some work done, the lounge is a better spot. The lounge music can get annoying now and then.

The food is still nowhere near the standard it should be, which is surprising after 40 years of my experience with Paradores. They’re usually in prestigious buildings and great locations, and this one is no exception. Maybe they could learn from local chefs nearby and pick up some basic seasoning and cooking techniques.

The stewed lamb was tender and juicy, and the price felt fair for a meal worth having again. The service and dishes were good quality. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant.

I liked the location and the beautiful castle setting, and the hotel itself is very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, but the room got very cold at night. Breakfast was also quite expensive at €24 per person.

We were just a couple of steps from the Castle and church, right in one of Olite’s main squares, so the location was perfect. The hotel looks like a medieval palace outside, and inside it has been modernized a bit but still keeps that medieval feel. The staff were helpful, though their English wasn’t very good. The restaurant inside is really good, probably the best place to eat in Olite. Our room was clean, and the bathroom was well furnished.
