Hostal Alto Tajo

We'd stayed here years ago, and it doesn't seem like much has been renovated since then. The service is still friendly, though not especially warm. This time we booked lunch two hours ahead. The set menu was €15. We didn't care much for the pickled fish, but everything else was delicious. We might come back.

It's a family-run place with a very warm, friendly feel. The restaurant serves excellent homemade food, well prepared and at an affordable €15. The front porch is charming, with lots of flowers and a vine that gives it a fresh feel and makes a lovely spot for photos. My only recommendation to the owners is to spend a little more. As for the inn, the listed prices are €40 per night, €15 for breakfast, €15 for dinner, and €3.50 for breakfast.

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the value for money is excellent. The restaurant is highly recommended for lunch or dinner too. It's unpretentious, so judge it by the price, quality, and service. We'll be back.

Nothing special, just average. The accommodation is reasonably priced, very clean and quiet, but basic, and the beds are very cheap. Restaurant prices are average to high, while the food quality is below average. Lunch and dinner menus are similar. For breakfast there's only toast, a muffin, or a croissant, which may be common for Spaniards but is terrible for attracting foreign visitors.
