Posada La Aldea

The apartment was a good size, with a separate bedroom, bathroom, sitting area, and kitchen. It was equipped with a washing machine, coffee machine, cooking facilities, basic dishes, crockery, and cutlery, plus complimentary tea and coffee. The bathroom was very clean and nicely fitted, and the bed was comfortable. We had a lovely stay at this quiet spot among little alleyways, a nice place to begin our trip in Spain. We were greeted on arrival and checked in quickly despite the language barrier, as we spoke little Spanish and hardly any English was spoken. We'd booked an apartment with a private garden, but the garden surrounds the property and other people can use it, so it didn't feel private. There was a BBQ outside, along with a table, chairs, and washing line. The main nuisances were hearing sounds from the room above, which could make it hard to sleep, and the dim lighting throughout the apartment. Brighter, slightly warm lights would be nicer. There was no kettle, though that may just be a cultural thing, since none of the places we stayed had one.
