Camping Didota

A spotless, dog-friendly campsite, with very friendly and helpful staff. The indoor pool and gym were great, and the bar and restaurant had fair prices. They accept ACSI, with big discounts for longer stays. Pitches are large enough for 9-meter units. Highly recommended. We were really pleased!

The location was good, but maintenance work was going on during our visit, so we didn't get to experience the campsite at its full potential.

We had an EHU problem that turned out to be an issue with our camper, though we didn't realize that at the time. The staff spent a long time trying to help, and since we speak very little Spanish, we really appreciated their effort to explain what was happening. Later, we accidentally tripped the electric for our long-stay neighbours. Staff sorted it out quickly, but the neighbours and their friends stood in front of our pitch glaring at us, which made us uncomfortable. We didn't stay in the end. Reception then got in touch and went out of their way to help put things right. They were lovely, and since the problem wasn't with the campsite, that kindness meant a lot. The location, value and customer service are all great, and it's dog friendly too. We had some of the best service we've experienced in a long time, and we'd happily stay here when we're in the area.

The beachside location is nice, but the site didn't seem set up for motorhomes. There's nowhere to empty grey water, and the black water point was locked until we asked someone to open it. Only one toilet and shower block serves the whole site, a long walk from the beachfront pitches. Our pitch had no shade, despite that being advertised, and the pool shut for two hours during the day. The restaurant was nice, but its staff were so rude. It's expensive and not as advertised, so I wouldn't recommend it.
