Aititerena

It’ll be hard to leave this place and our friends Vicente, José, and Ester. Ester was always checking that we had everything we needed, and José made our mornings warmer with his friendly greetings. Vicente took us on an outing in heavy rain and gray weather, and we still got to see beautiful scenery and animals we don’t usually encounter. His warmth and empathy came through, along with the passion and generosity he brings to sharing what he loves. The farmhouse is impressive, with a bathroom in every room and a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed sitting outside on sunny afternoons, listening to the birds in the morning and looking at the nearby mountains. The setting felt magical and drew us closer to nature. We had an unforgettable few days here, and it really did feel like home.

Pine trees surround this lovely setting, and the views are great. The house feels bright and roomy, with plenty of space. It was quiet and cozy, and the owners were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay.

The location makes the first arrival feel a bit cumbersome, though I think we were mostly just eager to get there. Once settled, it was very peaceful, and the highway is only a few kilometers away, which is handy for getting around on the following days. I guess tranquility always comes with a downside...

We felt at home for the whole perfect week. Vicente, the owner, showed us some amazing sights in the national park, and our neighbor Esther and her husband were so kind. Many thanks to them all.
