La Casita de las Hortensias

Carolina was efficient and always ready to help with anything we needed. The house was simply perfect, with everything you could possibly need at home and very well maintained. It’s definitely one of the best houses I’ve ever visited.

The house is in a quiet residential area, a short walk from the children's park and town center, and there was parking for all 4 cars in the designated area. We were 7 adults, 5 children up to 9 years old, and a baby, and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had all the basics, including utensils, cleaning products, and kitchen roll. The barbecue came with firewood and firelighters, and the bathrooms had shower gel, shampoo, toothbrushes, a hairdryer, and other toiletries. The owners’ welcome gift for adults and children was wonderful, too. The beds were very comfortable, with a great choice of pillows. The one exception was the sofa bed, which the person sleeping there found less comfortable. But everyone’s different, and for a couple of nights I can see how it might be fine. The accommodation and owners hadn’t overlooked a thing. It really is an ideal house, and our stay was a complete success.

The owners made everything easy, and the area has lots to offer children and adults alike. It’s also very close to Madrid. Three families stayed this past weekend, and we had a fantastic time. The house is beautiful, so comfortable, spotlessly clean, and full of little touches that make a stay easier. A perfect 10 out of 10, highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back.

Two families with children had a wonderful weekend here, and we’ll definitely return. It’s a beautiful country house in a stunning setting, with plenty of outdoor activities nearby. Segovia city is very close, and Madrid is less than an hour away. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they’ve thought of every detail.
