Casas Rurales Quijote y Sancho

We spent a week there and really enjoyed ourselves. The houses were very clean, and the service was excellent. It’s close to everything and well connected.

We were surprised by the area, which we’d expected to be much drier and more deserted. The Ruidera Lakes are spectacular, and the varied vegetation made for idyllic walks. We had a wonderful week in July at this resort, with two young children. The house was cozy, and the surroundings were just right for getting away from it all. The children loved the pool’s section set aside for them. Service was outstanding too. We called twice when we couldn’t get the air conditioning working, and they came straight over. We’ll definitely return, and I wholeheartedly recommend this charming place.

We felt right at home and had a wonderful weekend. The common areas include a large living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a bathroom, and even a wood-burning oven. Outside there’s a barbecue, tables, and a pool with room to sunbathe. Everything was so clean and tidy when we arrived, a 10 for cleanliness. The facilities are excellent, and I highly recommend it.

Awful. The rooms had no doors, the toilets had no shower screens, and there were flies, dirt, and dust everywhere. The landlord kept a close eye on us, pool time was limited, and they only took cash. It couldn’t have been worse. I don’t recommend it, and we won’t return.
