Oviedo was lovely, and we’d definitely come back to stay here. At Hotel Rosal we had a great visit, with a roomy, pleasant room, a modern bathroom, and very attentive, excellent service. Everything was very clean.

The rooms in Spain had no kettle, coffee, or microwave, which was inconvenient when we weren’t used to the siesta hours. Maybe that’s to save on staff costs. You first go to one property and then someone escorts you to another, which felt like an odd system and perhaps a way to save staff. Different, and that’s part of the experience!

The place is clean and low-priced, and its town location puts you close to everything. But the heating and electricity weren’t working properly. We were traveling with a baby and needed hot water, and sorting it out was a mess.
