The accommodation was still great, with friendly staff who were eager to help. We walked from Presedo, though you can call for a pickup for a fee, as the place is a bit off the Camino route. The food and price were the biggest disappointment. Dinner, with the room and Full breakfast, came to 269 euro, which shocked me. For example, a tin of mussels with olive and chips on the side cost 10 euro, and I’d expected fresh mussels. The salad was covered in balsemic reduction and mayo and was far too salty. My bad, I suppose. I hope they can improve the menu and pricing.

The building is gorgeous, with a fine dining feel and a distinctive mix of historic character and luxury. The food was unforgettable. The scallop and cod were fresh, the veal tender and juicy, and I even ordered a second main because I couldn’t miss out on Luis’s cooking. I’d highly recommend both the place and the food.

Maria and Jessica were such gracious, fantastic hosts, and this place is an absolute gem. The building is stunning and 1000 years old. Room 5 had a bathtub, which felt wonderful after three days of walking, and the beds were comfortable. It was fairly quiet. While walking the Camino de Santiago, we stayed the night here. When you arrive in Cos, they send a taxi to pick you up free of charge, and they do the same in the morning. Dinner was lovely, plentiful, and served as dishes to share. Prices were spot on, and breakfast is also available at a great price. I highly recommend staying here!

The staff were kind and caring, and the service was great. The food was lovely, and it felt like great value for money. Everything was beautifully presented, clean, and decorated with so much attention to detail. It far exceeded my expectations. I loved the place and wish I could have stayed longer. It’s very special, and I definitely want to book again on my next visit to Galicia.
