We got a very warm, friendly welcome, along with helpful tourist information about Padron. The house felt like visiting relatives. Just be aware there are stairs up to the second floor rooms and kitchen, which may not suit everyone. Our room had enough space, clean beds, daylight, and fresh air. Nearby bars were noisy on Saturday, but after all those kilometers on the Caminho, we still slept well. The retro-style kitchen and living room were nice. There was no stove, though the microwave did the job. A simple breakfast was included, with homemade jam and lots of toast. The bathroom was clean and felt like one in a home, not a hostel. A lovely stay thanks to the personal welcome and homey atmosphere. Thank you!

The owner even mailed one of my AirPods back to me in Canada after I forgot it, which is hard to beat for service. My peregrino friends and I stayed one night on the way to Santiago in a lovely, clean room with four beds and a balcony overlooking the city. The woman who checked us in was so welcoming and marked up a map with directions to help us make the most of our short time in Padrón. 10/10, I’d recommend it to any pilgrim.

The common room is roomy and comfortable, and the receptionist was kind and full of useful information. My own room, though, felt too cramped for me, with five bunk beds packed into a small space. It was stuffy and there wasn’t much privacy.

This was one of the cleanest hostels we stayed in along the Camino. For the price of a bed, though, I was surprised not to get sheets. The owner seemed nice, and I didn’t want to make a fuss, so my boyfriend and I used our own sleeping bags and towels. We had a pleasant, slow morning at the hostel talking with the owner. Then he ran a couple of kilometres down the Camino to find us and yell in the street, accusing us of taking towels and sheets we’d never been given. He kept shouting while we tried to explain, threatened to call the police, and then stormed off. Strange experience. Only stay here if you can handle a dose of crazy.
