The pool and location were the only real positives, and even with those, I wouldn’t give this place two stars. We wouldn’t come back. Our so-called superior unit felt very basic: worn IKEA furniture, rusty light fittings and a tiny TV. On the ground floor, its double glass door and bedroom window faced the street. We had to keep the blackout blinds shut and the lights on all day for privacy. Opening the windows wasn’t really an option when we were right on the street, and the window sills were dirty. There were little bugs on the bathroom floor and kitchen surfaces throughout our stay, and we even saw a cockroach. The bathroom also had a leak that left pools of water, which could have been dangerous. Reception did arrange for someone to come, but the leak wasn’t fixed. This was on a day without room service, and the staff used our towels to mop up, then left them on the bathroom floor. We stayed five nights and had no fresh sheets or towels. Cleaning only started at 10 sharp on checkout day. The only toiletries were two tiny bottles of gel on the first day, so you’ll need to buy more if you stay longer than two days. We booked because payment was due at check-in and there was no cancellation policy, but don’t expect a four-star stay.

Really liked these apartments. The setting is lovely, with two pools on the resort and shops and restaurants close by. Just bring your own dishwasher tablets.

We had a great time here and hope to return. The rooms were roomy and clean, though the furniture showed some wear. The beach is very close, and the staff were accommodating.

The location right by the ocean was the highlight, and check-in was easy. The apartments are simple and clean, but could use a bit more care and attention. I also wished the kitchen had more equipment and amenities.
