After walking the Camino, being welcomed with such warmth and a bottle of water was lovely. My room was cozy, and the place is beautifully decorated. It’s easy to walk to lots of restaurants and cafes in town. One of my favorite stops on the Camino. I absolutely loved staying here and would come back. Thank you!

The garden terrace on the side of the house, with kiwi vines and lots of other plants and flowers, was a lovely place to unwind after a long day on the Camino. Casa Leopoldo is right on the route, near Iglesia San Tirso, and restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and pharmacies are all an easy walk away. Don’t overlook this gem. Veronica, the host, made each guest feel special and cared for. She’s very kind. The homemade breakfast is worth having, especially their Huevos Peregrinos, with potatoes puree, onions, a poached egg, and a drizzle of truffle oil. The owners created and perfected the recipe. There was also fresh-baked bread, breakfast cakes, muffins, fruit, and homemade marmalade. The house feels like a warm, welcoming family home, with a sense of its past. I found the library sitting room and open kitchen, with its wood stove and communal table, comfortable and inviting. The bedrooms have playful animal figurines in place of room numbers. My spacious single room, with its own bathroom, was spotless and peacefully decorated, with small touches that made it even more comfortable.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the French lady who runs this very special place is so kind. There are just six rooms. It’s a characterful B&B with heart, a real jewel.

Breakfast around the kitchen island was lovely, and the host was very helpful. Each room has its own character. They aren’t very large, but they’re beautifully appointed. We really enjoyed our stay in this splendid accommodation, and I’d highly recommend Casa Leopoldo.

The beds were really comfortable, and breakfast was great. The coffee was something special. The room felt a little stuffy, but Casa Leopoldo is still a great place for anyone hiking the Camino. I’d definitely recommend it.
