Hotel Abelux

The rooms were so cramped I could barely relax or move around. The bed was awful too: far too soft, on wheels that made it unstable, and uncomfortable for sleeping. With no sound insulation, noise from outside and other rooms kept disturbing me. Breakfast was a letdown, with little substance or variety, more like a token offering than a proper meal. The service was unresponsive and unhelpful. This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. I felt completely scammed, and I’d strongly advise against booking here. For the price, there are far better choices. Save your money and go elsewhere.

The main old town is close by, and I found this a very reasonable hotel. The interior is modern, the breakfast adequate, and the balconies are lovely for catching the evening sun. My only complaint was the paper-thin walls. I had noisy neighbours squealing until the early hours.

There’s a pleasant bar tucked behind reception. The hotel itself is comfortable, with good rooms and bathrooms, and it’s about a 10-12 minute walk from the intermodal station, heading away from the center.

The room AC didn’t work, and the WiFi was slow and kept cutting out. Noise carries badly too. I could hear doors closing and other sounds from my room as if there were no walls.
