Bari

There was a really bad smell in the rooms, and the toilet wasn’t very clean. Using the air conditioning costs an extra 7€ per day. This is probably the worst hotel on Mallorca. I’m never going back!

I had all my jewelry stolen from my room during my stay at hotel Bari in Mallorca. I reported it to management straight away, but they were dismissive and unhelpful. After several attempts to sort it out, the hotel still took no responsibility and offered no compensation. The poor customer service and lack of security made this an awful experience, and I strongly advise against staying here.

The hotel and rooms are super ugly, and the bed linen was damaged and dirty. You have to pay extra for air conditioning. When I asked the man at reception for another pillow, he asked me lots of questions and took more than a day to bring it. He was also very impolite and came to tell my husband and me we couldn’t eat at the tables in front of the hotel because we’d bought the food somewhere else. That made no sense, since the hotel has NO food to sell. Worst hotel of my life.

A cheap place to sleep, with small, cozy rooms and a handy base for beach trips or taking the bus around the island. The people were very nice and accommodating, but the curfew was the one drawback. While we were there, the owner said we might be locked out if we returned after 11pm. It never actually happened.
