BG Hotel Pamplona

The area was fantastic, the locals were amazing, and the beaches and tour guides couldn’t have been better during our April 5-9 stay. But BG Pamplona didn’t provide four-star quality. We saw cockroaches on the sixth floor and on the first floor near the restaurant. Under 18s were allowed to engage in sexual activity during private spar sessions, and the hotel took zero accountability. That was shocking for people staying with families and children. There was also zero awareness of food allergies. Book with caution.

There were cockroaches everywhere, making this one of the most disgusting hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The AC heated the room instead of cooling it, so it felt like a sauna, and the fridge was heating rather than cooling too. We met people who said they got food poisoning from the hotel breakfast. The last straw was the cleaners coming into our room without knocking, even though checkout was still more than 20 minutes away and we had a do not disturb sign on the door. Whenever we complained, it felt like staff knew about the problems but basically disregarded us, and nothing got fixed. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!

A really good stay, with the beach very close by. The front desk and concierge were brilliant. Chari and Vanessa were especially amazing, so friendly and helpful.

We were a group of 12, booked four rooms, and stayed for just one night. The rooms were okay, and breakfast was perfect, with a huge choice of food, drinks, and fruit. The young receptionist left the worst impression. Her smile seemed fake, and although she tried to be “nice,” I found her annoying. There’s a huge selection of places to stay in Mallorca, so I wouldn’t return to this hotel.
