Joe's Gomila Boutique Hotel

We arrived today and have had a really good first impression. The room feels new and is clean, with a coffee machine, kettle, fridge and safe, everything we need for a short stay. The coast is right nearby for long walks. There are well-stocked supermarkets 100-200 m away, plus an organic food shop just 20 m from here. Recommended.

We stayed a couple of nights in a terrace suite, and the staff made us feel welcome and helped with anything we asked. The hotel is a bit out from the centre, but walking is still doable. We went via the harbour promenade, then followed it into town. A taxi is about 7 Euro, which seems reasonable for a holiday spot. The room was spacious and clean, with a fresh, modern feel. The shower is big, there were plenty of soft towels and toiletries, and we liked having a little fridge for water and snacks. The air conditioning kept things perfectly cool after a day out in Palma. There's a restaurant downstairs, but check its hours, and ask someone to show you how to get in after hours. We’ll be back. :)

The rooftop was a lovely little sun trap during the day, and the small pool was handy for cooling off. Service was excellent, with room service available to the room or rooftop. The rooms were modern and clean, and we had a very pleasant stay. It’s away from the city centre, so you’ll need a taxi, though the fares are quite reasonable. Would highly recommend this place.

The staff were amazing and really helpful, but the rooms left a lot to be desired. The advertised air conditioning barely worked. Opening the windows made the room several degrees cooler, though the nearby hostel meant it was noisy at night. If you’re neurodivergent or have sensory issues, sleep just wasn’t possible. Hotels should be more careful with their advertising. Sensory sensitivities are very real.
