Portella Palma

A gorgeous break right in the middle of Palma. The service was fabulous, the location is great, and the rooms are both beautiful and comfortable. It really felt like a five-star stay, and I can't wait to come back soon. Thanks so much!

Alejandro deserves a special mention. Every time we stay, he goes out of his way to make us comfortable, and no request seems like too much. He does it all with such pleasant energy. We travel a lot and stay in Palma regularly, and this has become our go-to. The private chef is a lovely touch, and dinner was impressive. The hotel has the feel of a luxurious home or riad, with a warm atmosphere and thoughtful details. The service, quality finishes, chic but understated decor, and great homemade food are what quiet luxury should be. It's easily my favorite Palma hotel, even after stays at many others, including several five-star places. Highly recommend.

The staff were welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was good, though for the price I expected more. I booked a Comfort Room at Portella Hotel in Palma de Mallorca. It was on the ground floor, and the room fell short for me: hardly any space, no natural light, and noise coming through from both next door and upstairs. It didn't feel like the standard I'd expect from a five-star hotel. If you're thinking of booking this room type, I think you'd be better off paying the same for a better room in a four-star hotel.

Everyone treated us like family, from the chefs to reception and housekeeping. We were genuinely sad to leave, and we're already looking forward to returning. We usually eat out, but tried dinner at Hotel Portella one evening and were amazed by how good it was. The design is stunning, with lovely attention to detail, and our room was spotless and comfortable. The location is right in the heart of everything, yet the hotel feels like a hidden gem. Service was top-notch throughout.
