Hotel Vibra Palma Cactus

The hotel is very close to the beach, and bus stops for the centre are nearby, but the stay was below average and I wouldn't go back. The photos made it look good, and it was okay visually, but the atmosphere felt off. On check-in day, our room wasn't ready until 3pm. We waited in the lounge for 2hrs while the receptionist took her time, spoke Spanish to two young trainees, and was rude when we asked how much longer it would be. She wasn't welcoming and showed no customer service skills. The two girls couldn't help either, saying they didn't know when we asked questions. The next morning, a gentleman greeted us good morning when we got out of the lift, unlike the woman who checked us in. The food was mid, with few options, and dinner was very sad, honestly. I'd skip half board. Staff in the dining area also seemed unwelcoming, like they didn't want to be there. The pool was tiny, and road works outside made it noisy. Evenings were extremely quiet, while other hotels had live music or a band. There was no water in the rooms, and a bottle cost €5. There are better looking, livelier hotels nearby that probably offer better service.

The location made getting around easy: the beach is close, restaurants and shops are nearby, and the nearest bus stop is a 2-minute walk. The bus goes to Palma or the airport. The hotel also has a small gym, table tennis, a pool table, and a swimming pool. I stayed in October and enjoyed it. The room was clean and nice, with a comfortable bed and a modern, clean bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. I paid for breakfast and dinner each day. Breakfast was fine, though dinner sometimes lacked flavour, and drinks at dinner cost extra even though those same drinks are free at breakfast. Thanks for having us, I enjoyed the stay.

Ana and Aisha made our wedding anniversary extra special. I hadn't had much time to arrange anything, but they decorated our room, left a gift, and wrote a message for me. We flew in late at night with our 9 month old baby, and the team at Vibra Cactus were so warm and welcoming, helping us with everything when we arrived. We were super happy with our stay.

A straightforward, lovely hotel. Breakfast is included and has a great range for different tastes. The pool area is relaxed, and the bar has a good choice of drinks at decent prices compared with nearby bars. There's a gym on site, and every staff member I met was very friendly. I'll be back!
