Jackson makes this place feel like a home. He’s so welcoming and kind, easygoing, helpful with recommendations, and always made me feel well looked after coming and going. The house is beautiful, regal, and sophisticated, but still cozy. Everything was spotless and comfortable, the decor and details are gorgeous, and the location is great. I even booked an extra night to spend a day by the pool in the gorgeous backyard. The family cat and birds add to the homey feel. It was such a unique stay in Andalusia, unlike anywhere else I’ve been. If there were a 10-star rating, that would fit better.

Crisp white linen, superb bedding, comfy beds, and luxurious towels. The owner is helpful in every way and nothing is ever a problem. This place is a winner, a wonderful gem that’s worth trying. I doubt you’ll find anywhere better.

Jackson was the best host, with such attention to detail, and the renovation of this early 1800's palacete is exquisite. Photos really don’t show how beautiful it is. The room was super clean, with a TV, window, giant closet, powerful hairdryer, and very comfortable cushions and mattress. Casa San Jose is centrally located on a very cute pedestrian street, and it’s one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. Thanks to all the staff!

Staying at Casa San Jose was unbelievable. The owners were gentle and polite, and the interior is fantastic, it feels like being in a museum. After the heat, having a glass of whine by the pool was outstanding. Best wishes to Casa San Jose, I hope to come back as soon as I can! Alex

We picked Palma Del Rio at random as a halfway stop on our bike tour from Seville to Cordoba, where we only needed somewhere to sleep. After three months of staying in hotels, this small hotel turned out to be our favorite. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, and the place feels like a museum. An absolute delight and outstanding value.
