We found the room spotless each evening, and the room service was very good. The place itself is lovely, quiet and clean, with helpful, caring staff who speak English. Breakfast with service is available for 6 EUR, the wifi is fast and strong, and there’s safe parking.

It’s too far from town, and there’s nowhere to go for a walk. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The owner’s arrogant manner was the worst part. They showed no basic courtesy and didn’t seem willing to sort out the problem. There are other serious issues too: the dining room is in a basement garage conversion with no natural light, and on the second floor the water pressure can be low or the water can stop completely.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the homemade food adds to the country house feel. The rooms are plain but comfortable, and nights are quiet. It’s a little away from the tourist area, though there’s a direct bus stop just a few metres away. It feels more like staying in a country house than a hotel.
