The garden and pool were incredible during our two months here over the summer. The natural pool felt healing and refreshing whenever we swam, and there were loads of fruits in the garden. Jose encouraged us to help ourselves to the berries and fruit from the tree. Eating fruit straight off a tree was such an experience, and I'd never tasted anything more delicious. Our room had spectacular mountain views, and we could watch both sunrise and sunset from the terrace. Being nestled in the mountains, with hiking trails and nature right there, was a special experience. La Oveja Verde is also a five-minute walk from a supermarket and pharmacy. We didn't have a car, but could get everything we needed in town, including vegetarian items. The rooms are beautiful, cozy, and immaculate, with a Spanish aesthetic, and had everything we needed for daily life. Jose and Sarah were welcoming, thoughtful, kind, and compassionate hosts. Whenever anything came up, they sorted it out and helped us. They were very supportive and clearly care a lot about the property and guests. We had the most fantastic time and would recommend this place for either a short or long stay. A BIG thank you to Jose and Sarah!

We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony most of all, with astonishing views across the valley. The owners were very helpful, and we loved the garden with its fruit tree and natural pool. It's a beautiful hotel in the quiet village of Pitres. We've stayed twice and will definitely return when we visit La Alpujarra.

We only wish we'd stayed longer. The Green Sheep was one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed in. José is charming, with a funny sense of humor, and makes a delicious breakfast with great coffee. The rooms are very clean and have everything you could want. We had room #1, with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden and the mountains beyond.

We had three lovely days at the green sheep. The accommodation and gardens were lovely, and the natural pool was a treat. Good food, too, and the owners were really nice.
