B&B Finca Alegria de la Vida

We loved exploring the area, from old towns and mountain villages to beaches, mountains, and dramatic scenery. Even getting there by car or train was part of the experience, and it was lovely to come “home” in the evening. Back at the Finca, our room had a spacious outdoor area with a colorful patio table and loungers, a large adjoining bathroom, and views of the surrounding nature. Bert and Margreet made us feel welcome in this peaceful, magical place. Their hospitality is warm and always there without being too much. Bert’s delicious meals made for convivial evenings around the terrace’s long table. This is a place where we could relax, reset, and feel at home. We hope to come back. Back for my second visit, and I enjoy this beautiful place every time. The tents are great and the beds are comfortable. Mornings bring a stunning sunrise, peace and quiet, and a superb breakfast. Bert and Margreet are so welcoming, and there’s lots to do around here. Highly recommend it.

The pool was a welcome way to cool off on warm days, with good loungers and towels ready to use. We ended our Andalusia tour at Bert and Margreet’s B&B again this year and had another lovely stay. They’re hosts who really care. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and breakfast is fresh and straightforward. You should give Bert’s cooking a try at least once. The location is handy too: Malaga, Mijas, the beach, and the airport are all within about a half-hour drive. Pizarra has a few good restaurants, an ice cream shop, an ATM, and a supermarket, and it’s less than ten minutes away by car. Thanks again for looking after us and creating such a relaxing B&B. We spent a day at the Finca just enjoying the pool and its fantastic view, and it was bliss. Bert and Margreet were friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for day trips and hiking routes. The location also makes it easy to get out and explore. Nearby there are lovely mountains and nature, including Caminito del Rey, while Rhonda, Malaga, and the coast are all a fairly short drive away. The train to Malaga is convenient, with nice views along the way, and drops you right in the city center. Bert is also a great cook. I’d recommend this B&B to anyone.
