The room was simple, with a private bathroom, and good value, especially for Camino pilgrims looking for something other than a dorm. WhatsApp made it easy to get in touch. The TV's streaming options were a nice bonus, since we could use our own Netflix account.

After the hardest day on the Camino San Salvador, we were desperate for a hot shower and a bed when we reached the bottom of the hill. Casa del Abad wasn't on the Buen Camino app, so we found her on Google and messaged over WhatsApp. The owner was so welcoming, and the cozy pension and comfortable room were just what we needed to rest. We loved staying there.

Aurora was such a friendly, helpful hostess, and even arranged a taxi for us to a restaurant in a nearby town. Our room was spacious, clean, and very quiet, and having somewhere to park the bikes behind the hotel was a bonus. A good stopover, definitely recommended. Four happy travellers.

Right by the Camino, and one of the cleanest, kindest places we stayed on the San Salvador. The host was incredibly kind, the room was clean and comfortable, and we got plenty of information about the town. Booking through their webpage on WhatsApp was easy.
