Apartamentos Bellamar

The town was an easy stroll away, with lots of restaurants and a few bars, and the quiet road made this a relaxing base for a gentle holiday or a cycling trip. Our apartment was a decent size, with a small kitchen and a balcony overlooking the pool and beach. The first room wasn’t right for us, but the staff were accommodating and moved us to a better one the next day. There was a laundry problem, so the towels smelled for a couple of days before they were fine again. We heard no supermarket noise from below.

The apartment interior is a little dated, but the view and location were great, and the price was fair. Our host was easy to reach and very helpful, even letting us keep our bikes in the room. The cleaning staff did a lovely job. We had an exceptional stay.

The pool and beach were lovely and never felt crowded, and the view from the well-designed apartments was fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants and other facilities nearby. My main frustration was not knowing basic things like how often cleaning happened. Staff were around much of the time, but not overnight or in the very early hours or after 6 pm. I called from my UK phone a couple of times for simple answers, which got expensive. I was there with my three-year-old at the start of September, and it seemed to bother some of the generally older crowd. If that doesn’t concern you, it’s no problem.

We stayed ten nights and were happy with the clean, pleasant apartment and its beautiful view. We could hear people in the other rooms, especially those upstairs moving furniture, since we were on the first floor. Apart from that, it was very nice.
