Hoposa Hotel Daina - Adults Only

The slow bar service was the one real frustration. We would have ordered more if drinks had arrived sooner or someone had come around earlier, so we ended up using local bars for pre-dinner drinks. More staff or a quicker system could help. The rest of the hotel was lovely. Check-in staff were fantastic and helpful, housekeeping was brilliant, and everyone was friendly. The rooms were spacious and had the expected amenities. The top-floor rooms with jacuzzis are stunning, with great views and sun all day. Breakfast had plenty of hot and cold choices, and the omelet station was great. The decor is impeccable, and reception smells amazing. It’s a beautiful hotel in the heart of the port.

We had a week at the Daina and ended up moving to a penthouse with a gorgeous terrace and private hot tub. We wanted more space for the length of our stay, and the staff went above and beyond to arrange a very reasonable upgrade. They were warm and accommodating the whole time. Housekeeping was prompt, thorough and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was exquisite, very easy to overdo. The bike storage was handy and easy to access. The pool area is beautiful, though it was too cold for us to swim during our visit. Being right on the beachfront worked perfectly for our daytime activities in the sun, and the nearby bars and restaurants were convenient in the evenings. If we get back to Port de Pollença, The Daina will be our first choice.

The bike storage opposite the hotel was secure and really useful, with a personal lock for each bike. There’s a washing machine and water station there too, which helped a lot. The pool area is great, and the pool itself is huge. Our room was tidy and spacious, and the location was great. Breakfast had lots of variety each morning. If you can get a table on the balcony, it’s a great place to look out over the sea.

I paid €500 for three nights, but the room they assigned me was above the kitchen, according to reception. Some kind of generator ran noisily all night, so I couldn’t get any rest or sleep. Reception said a different room would only be available on the last day. Sad and a rip-off. I can’t recommend staying here.
