The pool was a lovely place to unwind, and there was always a sun lounger free. It came in especially handy when high winds closed the beaches. Our room suited the trip well, with air conditioning, a balcony, a fridge freezer, and a comfortable bed. It was cleaned daily when we asked. We also had breakfast included and would recommend adding it to your stay. This was my first time staying at Hotel Oriola, though I’ve been back to Cala Saint Vincente before. It’s a beautiful area, and the nearest beach is only about a two minute walk away. Gabriella at reception gave us such a warm welcome, and the whole team were friendly and made an effort to help guests feel at home. For the price, I thought the hotel offered fantastic value. I honestly couldn’t find fault with it. Maybe some of the people who left negative reviews started out with expectations that were too high. Thanks to everyone there, and I hope to see you again when I return to the Cala!

We stayed just one night, and I was glad it wasn’t longer. It was a little cold at night in late May, so we looked in the wardrobe for blankets. There were two, but they smelled awful and I couldn’t tell whether they were washed. They didn’t even have cover sheets. The bathroom and toilet were fine.

You’re only a two minute walk from the beach, with shops and restaurants all around in the lovely town of Cala san Vincenç. The hotel itself has a quiet, peaceful feel, with simple, tasteful decor, comfortable beds, air conditioned rooms, and amazing showers. Gabriela and the rest of the staff were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make the stay comfortable. Thanks for a wonderful visit. I’ll definitely come back x

We ended our stay three nights early and moved to another hotel. Management offered no compensation or help. The property may have had some surface updates, but to us they didn’t make it a boutique hotel, and the price didn’t feel justified. There are better options on the island at similar or lower prices, unless quiet doesn’t matter to you or you’re an exceptionally deep sleeper. Noise was the biggest problem. The walls were so thin we heard footsteps on the stairs, doors slamming and locking, and conversations and TV from neighboring rooms. At night, intoxicated guests sang and shouted loudly enough to make a good night’s sleep impossible. It stopped us from relaxing on vacation. The room, especially the bathroom, wasn’t as clean as we expected from a “Boutique Hotel.” Water leaked from the shower into the main area, and staff seemed little interested when we reported it. Breakfast was very basic and poorly presented, more like a low budget hostel. The free coffee came from a standard machine and tasted like it; a proper coffee from a quality machine cost extra. More broadly, despite the “boutique hotel” name, the place felt much closer to a budget 2 star hostel than a carefully put together boutique stay.
