Casa do Marabillas-Hostel

It worked well for us and I have no complaints. The rooms were clean, and the firm beds were comfortable. There are only two showers and three toilets shared among everyone, but we didn’t run into any problems. It’s a good middle ground between a hostel and a hotel.

Our twin room had a lovely balcony with a view, and towels and shampoo were provided. The kitchen was well set up with all the tools you need, so it’s easy to pick up ingredients at the nearby supermarket and cook dinner. I found the place on Booking. The casa sits near the top of town, so there’s a bit of a climb, but it’s quiet and nice. Grab a scoop of gelato and walk up, haha.

Pedro speaks great English and was really friendly and attentive. We had dinner with friends in the nice kitchenette, which had the facilities we needed, and Pedro came over for a great conversation. I had the room for six; it was tidy and clean. The only downside was sharing one toilet with the other rooms.

Pedro was a friendly host and speaks excellent English. The room was basic but tidy, with a working heater, and the bathroom was clean with a good shower. There’s a small, basic kitchen, but no bar or catering. It’s on the edge of town, and fine for a night on the Camino.
