The owners were lovely, and the place was clean and well located. We really enjoyed our few days here. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, and there was a cozy terrace. It’s close to the beach and the wine region. Highly recommended, even without an elevator.

Getting any sleep here was impossible. The hostel is next to a bar, Cubanei, that never closes. Neighbors say its “official” closing time is 3 AM, but the intoxicated customers kept talking loudly and shouting in the narrow street below the hostel windows until past 4 AM. The bar owners know about the problem but don’t do anything. When I complained, they said I should have found out where I was going. I hadn’t, so I’m warning anyone considering a stay: if you care about getting rest, avoid this hostel. I lost sleep during what were meant to be vacation days, and the noise levels are outrageous.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and it was easy to unwind there after a day out. The hostel is only a few steps from the beach, and the welcome and service were both really friendly.

The owner was friendly, and breakfast was very good. My room was basic but spotless. Since the hostel is in an entertainment area, there’s quite a bit of noise outside, especially at weekends, though the double-glazed windows cut it down a lot.

I never even got inside the hostel, haha, so I can’t comment on it. I had to cancel my reservation because my child got sick, and I didn’t get a refund. Has anyone else had better luck? What a considerate gesture from the owner. Hope you’re very rich. Cheers.
