Hotel Aquaria Caneliñas

I stopped for a refreshing drink and the staff were lovely, doing all they could to help. The whole place looked welcoming and like a nice place to be. The beach is just across the road, a hop, skip and jump from this small secluded bay. There’s also a boardwalk within walking distance that leads to a promenade in the next town. I didn’t stay the night, but I believe the bedrooms are good.

We’d planned to stay the whole week, but my partner and I changed our minds and moved elsewhere. Reception let us check out early, which was fantastic service. The hotel itself is very nice, with lovely staff, a good breakfast, and nice, fairly spacious rooms. It’s in a rather empty area, though, so having a car to get around would be helpful.

I accidentally booked this hotel in a different city from the one I needed. I realized two hours later and called booking.com right away, but was told the hotel would still charge half the price. They could have been more flexible, or at least given me more time.

We had a room with a beach view and a small terrace, and the bed was comfortable. The interior design was decent, and reception staff were friendly and helpful. Caneliñas beach is right in front, and Baltar beach isn’t far away. It’s about a 35min walk to the party area at Sanxenxo port next to Silgar beach. There’s no customer car park, so finding a spot near the entrance can be difficult.
