We stayed a few days before Christmas in 2019, and it was the best part of our trip. Jesus was a wonderful host who made us feel at home. He let us know well in advance that the town and the region would be shut down during our stay, so we made sure to bring what we needed. We planned to cook anyway, and the kitchen had all the appliances and cookware we needed. Jesus also helped us map out the places we wanted to see and when to visit them. There are lots of hiking trails nearby, and the vineyards are an easy drive away.

Cal Porxo has a snug, welcoming feel and so many little details. It brought back memories of my godmother’s house when I was a kid. The kitchen is practical and well equipped, the rooms are roomy, and the terrace has lovely views and a great spot to watch the stars. Jesús was a fantastic host, always attentive. He even let us try some local vermouth and spirits.

We’ll always remember our stay fondly. The owner, Jesús, gave us such personal attention and is a wonderful person. This fully restored rural house is done with care and has all the little details. Pradell is a small town, but within a few days people had already made us feel part of the community. A great place to come with family, unwind, recharge, and enjoy the surroundings. Thank you so much for everything!

The town makes a lovely first impression, reached by a small road lined with olive trees. It’s small, tidy, and full of charming corners. Cal Porxo is a beautifully renovated village house, with great decor and a really nice choice of furniture. Some pieces were striking, especially the two armchairs in the hallway by the bedrooms, such a great little spot. The house is very pleasant and kept in excellent order. The beds are old but surprisingly comfortable. Jesús was attentive and took time to explain things, and if you’re lucky, you might get to taste his memorable ratafia. A really, really recommendable stay.
