We especially appreciated how much room there was inside. With 11 of us and the weather keeping us indoors, we still had a lovely time without getting under each other's feet. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and looked after, and the kitchen had better equipment than we often find in rural rentals. The decor is tasteful, and the whole place is really comfortable. The countryside around the house is beautiful. We managed one walk on a break in the rain and spotted roe deer and vultures, though we had to turn back when the rain started again. The house is peaceful, spacious and close to Madrid, with everything we needed. The owners were lovely and always available, answering our questions and giving us detailed ideas for walks, places to visit and things to do nearby. We'll definitely come back, hopefully with better weather. Even our dog had a great time, so I'm sharing a picture of him since I don't know how to cover faces with emojis.

Meet Skye, our 8-year-old dog. A weekend with friends that we expected to enjoy became the worst experience we've ever had together. On Saturday morning my husband took her along a public countryside path. Five loose, aggressive mastiffs attacked him, and no one responsible for them was there. Skye ran off after one of the dogs bit her. We spent three hours searching, while nobody came to secure the dogs, and she died at the vet's doorstep. My husband is okay, thankfully, but we could have been out walking with our five children, as we usually do on rural trips. The homeowner knew there was danger, but never warned us. I called her to ask for the dogs to be locked up so we could look for Skye, and that call showed she knew about the situation. Neighbors and people we met in the village spoke of complaints and problems with these dogs. They are known around the area for attacking dogs, with some deaths, and people too. The dogs herd sheep that wander freely through the village, and apparently nobody can do anything about it. I ask that the woman stop renting the house until this is dealt with. This time it was Skye, but next time it could be a person. Whether someone chooses to stay there and risk harm to a loved one is on their conscience. I have nothing else to add; nothing can undo what happened to us in that village. EDIT: We heard about the complaints and problems from neighbors. The homeowner showed in the phone call that she knew. It's a shame she didn't record it.

We really enjoyed the village, and the house was clean, comfortable and in great order, with plenty of utensils. Fernando and Beatriz were spectacular hosts, attentive the whole time. The TV wasn't working at first, so we asked them about it since they have Movistar+, and they fixed it straight away.

We were two couples with young children, and we're already looking forward to coming back. The location is lovely, with beautiful, peaceful surroundings, and the place itself is incredible. Everything was wonderful during our weekend there. Thanks to the owners for such a beautiful house and for looking after us so attentively. Well done!

We were ten, and opinions were all over the place. This is just my own take: I was comfortable in the house, and the strong Wi-Fi was a real plus because the village has no cell service. There were plenty of utensils, too. The town has lots going on in August and is well placed for visiting the area. Fernando and Beatriz were very nice, attentive hosts who replied quickly whenever we had questions. A few things could have been better for future guests. The TV got no channels, and the cleanliness was only so-so. I have a couple of photos of unpleasant things but would rather not post them. Hair had clogged the shower in one bedroom, and I had to clear it myself. The attic gets very hot, so a fan or something similar would help. I was also disappointed not to use the jacuzzi, which isn't open during pool season, since I had been looking forward to it and nobody told me. I was very satisfied overall, though I know quite a few of my companions weren't.
