SHAMEFUL!! It was freezing in the apartment when we finally arrived at 6:00 PM, after they didn’t give us the key until 5:00 PM. They hadn’t even turned on the heating, and it barely worked. We asked for an electric radiator or something, but they said the circuit breakers trip because there isn’t much heating. We had two little girls with us, ages 2 and 5, and they offered no solution at all. I don’t recommend it, no matter how good the location is.
The location is excellent, and the views were beautiful with all that snow. But the radiators didn’t heat the apartment properly, and we were freezing. We asked for an oil-filled radiator, which helped some, though the circuit breakers kept tripping. Otherwise it was fine, but you can’t get by without heat in winter, especially when it’s between -1-5°C.
The apartment was very comfortable, with incredible views of Sierra Nevada.
I’ve stayed twice and had a very good experience both times. The apartments are good, depending on their size and the owner. They’re high on the hillside, with a great view over Pradollano and the slopes, especially at night.
The beds downstairs were bad, and the kitchen only had two burners. The living room on the first floor had no windows, and neither did the second-floor bedroom. There are too many stairs for elderly people, and it took minutes to open the front door lock. I won’t come back.
