For a place on the main Camino routes, where you’re expected to pay a premium, I thought the price was reasonable. The room was clean and quiet. The shower was tiny, but the water was nice and hot.

The room was small, but set up in a luxe way. The sheets especially stood out: crisp, new, and like something from a five-star hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were 12/10. An exquisite boutique hotel, and I’d stay here again.

Walking the Camino, I’ve found this to be the best money I’ve spent on accommodation so far. It’s upscale, modern, and clean, and the breakfast was lovely. Such a great experience, I can’t recommend it enough.

I had a great chat with the reception staff member, who might have been the owner, though I didn’t ask. The place has clearly been upgraded to a very high standard and was immaculately clean. There’s a nice elevator, and it’s the only hotel that put my bag in my room when it was delivered by a courier. Spain seems strict about how it ranks places like this, and the official tourism board gives it one star. That seems nuts to me; it’s clearly above that. Lovely place, highly recommended, and a strange rating from Spain Tourism.

I had a good night here while walking the Camino and would stay again. The hotel is clean and up to date, with very helpful staff and a very nice breakfast. It’s in the old part of Puente la Reina.
