We won't be returning. The baby chair was filthy, and the service was awful. We were assured the chocolate cake was nut-free, but it arrived with almonds even though one of our guests, a child, has a serious nut allergy. The desserts weren't good either, and the beef was so tough it was impossible to chew. The set menu is cheap, but you can tell why. We came despite the good reviews and had a terrible meal.

The garden outside is lovely, and the staff are great. Eugenio, the owner, was especially kind and helpful. Our room and bathroom were clean, and the beds were comfortable, though the pillows felt a little hard. Breakfast was excellent. The Wi-Fi was so weak that we couldn't log on from almost anywhere in the hotel, and only some rooms have AC. It gets hot, so in summer I'd try to book one of those rooms. I'd definitely recommend the place, and check out the caves!

There was plenty of food, which is why I'm not giving it one star, but I'd have preferred smaller portions and better quality. The meat was poor, and although the menu is cheap, it still costs too much for such basic service. I wouldn't recommend it unless there's no other option.

The ancient caves and the chance to explore the area make this a wonderful place to visit and unwind. The staff are fantastic and make foreign visitors feel genuinely welcome.

A picturesque village, with a river, two bridges and three restaurants. The hotel is clean and the rooms are large. Breakfast was coffee with a plate of ham, cheese and cake.
