Ibis Budget Sevilla Aeropuerto

Estella at the counter was a bright spot, and the continental breakfast was good, a nice way to start the day. It cost 8.50 Euro per person. We paid 250 Euro for two nights, and there was plenty of highway noise. The rooms were clean but stark, with hard beds, no closets, no refrigerator, and no frills. We arrived on a rainy Friday night after sitting in heavy traffic for 30 minutes before the three-light roundabout. Getting there was confusing: GPS didn't lead us easily to the entrance, I missed the side street and circled the block, and the freeway split into a Y where you need to stay left. At the roundabout, the traffic lights were confusing, and after the U-turn you have to take a side-street alley to the garage. It's separate from both the IBIS Hotel buildings, and the ad hadn't mentioned a garage. The gate ticket dispensers only worked about half the time, so we kept asking how parking worked. If you're at the Budget hotel, park on the third floor; the two floors above are reserved for the Premium IBIS hotel. Parking costs 6 Euro a day. I guess you get what you pay for!

We were there for one night and asked the receptionist to keep our two sandwiches in the refrigerator, since our room had none. Other Ibis hotels have been happy to do that, but this receptionist refused to store them even overnight. The service felt rude and unhelpful.

The rooms were clean and functional, though they could use USB adapters in the walls. The breakfast wasn't worth it, but the staff were excellent, especially Francis and Alba (Madrid IBIS). The parking costs 6 euros and isn't explained very well, though it's intuitive once you get it. The hotel isn't easy to spot from the main road. I'll use it again because it's so close to SVQ, I nearly overshot it this time!

We were very happy with our stay and the service was great. The rooms are on the small side, but that didn't bother us at this price. Just know it's a decent distance from downtown Sevilla, though it's close to the airport, which was what we wanted. Very good value, and we'd stay again.
