We had a lovely overnight stop on our way to the Santander ferry, and we'd happily stay again. The scenery around Posada La Anjana is fantastic, and the hotel itself is beautiful and spotlessly clean. The owners and staff were friendly and welcoming. Dinner was good and reasonably priced, and breakfast was included in the room rate. At 60 euros a night, the nicely decorated room was good value. We brought our two dogs and weren't charged extra. Parking was free and secure. In summer, the area would be great for walking and cycling. We stayed on November 19, 2013, and would recommend the hotel.

The inn and restaurant staff were so attentive, and the restaurant was a lovely place to eat. The food was excellent too. It's a gorgeous spot surrounded by lots of nature.
