NH Madrid Balboa

We were a big group of friends, and the hotel’s location worked perfectly for us. What I’ll remember most, though, is how warmly the team treated us. Every interaction felt personal, and they put real thought into making us feel welcome. Thank you in particular to Lucia, Laura, Jess, Fredrico, Virginia, Gishan, and the others. Your kindness, professionalism, and care with the details made the stay special. We appreciated it all and will remember the experience for a long time. You made us feel at home.

The breakfast buffet was decent, and the front desk staff were kind and helpful. Still, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again. We arrived for check-in at 4pm, but our rooms weren’t ready, even though the listed time is 3pm. That seemed to mean they might be ready at some point after 3. The room itself was basic and not especially clean, with a very dusty phone. There was no iron or ironing board. The room service number on the phone didn’t work either. When I asked for hot water, I was told I’d have to wait until the restaurant opened at 8am. They gave me one bottle of still water, but there was no bottle opener in the room.

At NH Madrid Balboa, the room was consistently spotless, fresh, and comfortable. The housekeeping team took great care with the cleaning and details, which made a real difference to my stay. The Reception Team were warm, professional, and ready to help. They made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free, and their welcome made me feel at home. Thank you to both teams for your dedication and five-star service. You’re the reason this hotel feels like home in Madrid ❤️

The location is hard to beat, and the staff are so kind. I love the breakfast buffet too, it’s unbelievable. This is my favorite hotel, highly recommend 💛
