TRH Taoro Garden - Only Adults Recommended

We had a sea-view room on the third floor. The hotel was modernised, very clean, quiet, and relaxing. The basic rooms were nice enough, staff were attentive, friendly, and spoke most languages. The pool area was pleasant with plenty of loungers, and the food was okay. It's adults-only, with mostly German guests. We mainly used it as a base to explore, since there wasn't much atmosphere. Bed and breakfast is enough, you'd go crazy eating here three times a day. The hotel sits high up. The downhill walk to the seafront takes twenty minutes, but you'll need a taxi to get back up. The shuttle bus to town picks up at several hotels, so it can be full and is never on time.

The garden is full of healthy plants and trees and is very well looked after. Everywhere was clean, the food was delicious, and the staff were so friendly. We spent ten days here and found it to be one of the best-run hotels we've come across. Thank you for making the holiday so enjoyable. We'll come back and see you again.

We're ten days into a fourteen-day stay at the Taoro, and already can't wait to return. When we were shown to our room, reception called to check that we liked it. The staff have been wonderful ever since. Erika often gets games and entertainment going around the pool, and Jess at the pool bar is amazing. They're both friendly, polite, and always glad to help. The hotel is quiet and peaceful and adults-only, around a twenty-minute walk from the beach, with a very hilly walk back. On our second morning, we woke to a cockroach infestation. See the video and watch it to the end. Staff seemed blasé about it. We changed rooms and were upgraded to full board, but the distress ruined our holiday.
