I stayed in January, when the hotel was very quiet. It’s up a hill but still not far from the main stretch of bars and restaurants. The place is basic and dated, though everything was clean and tidy, and there was what I needed to cook for myself. Very cheap for a few days.

There were 11 of us, and the cleaning lady was kind enough to let us keep a room until we left with all our luggage. The small shop next door had what we needed to get started. Our rooms were dated but clean, and perfectly adequate since we mainly needed somewhere to sleep. It’s a great base for exploring PDC, with shops, bars and restaurants a short stroll downhill to the promenade. We came for a few days to celebrate my birthday, and I’d recommend the apartments to anyone looking for a base. If you want more, pay more. It’s that simple.

We had a great week in December, and the apartment itself was perfect. The main strip is about five minutes away. You can use the washing machine for €5, which is good value, but reception was never open when we needed it, even for arrivals. Renting a kettle for €5 also seemed unusual.

The staff were friendly, shared areas were sanitised well, and we never struggled to find a sunbed. The apartments were lovely and clean, and the location made a great base for Puerto del Carmen. The pool was a bit dirty on a couple of days and wasn’t cleaned, though. Apart from that, it was perfect.

We stayed in apartment 2 from 6th September to the 20th. It was private and relaxing, and we had a fantastic two weeks. The receptionist and the cleaning lady were both helpful and polite. Since we had to leave our apartment by noon on departure day but our flight wasn’t until 8pm, they offered us an empty apartment to relax in while we waited. We’ll be back.
