The hotel sits on a steep hill, which can be tough if you’re older or have limited mobility. There’s a hotel bus down and back at certain times, and a taxi costs less than 5 euros. At FLORA 1, most rooms are apartments without kitchens. Some look over the pool and sea, though the pool and bar noise can carry through the day and evening. FLORA 11 is quiet. Sunbeds are handed out at 10oclock, so get in line early if you want one. I asked reception about the sunbed rules and am still waiting for an answer. Beds are only held with towels for a few hours. Some guests stack towels on their verandas, and I didn’t manage to get a pool spot in 6 days. The hotel bar has entertainment every night, starting with a kids disco, then things like bingo, quizzes, magic and pirate shows, and karaoke. The pool at flora 2 is deep, so it could use a kids’ pool as well. The kids club runs in the afternoons by the play park.
