Aptos Cabrera

The apartment was really quiet all day. There was no noise from the street or neighbours, and you could hear the waves on the beach directly below as you lay in bed and started to drift off. We had a beautiful stay. The view is one of the best, and the appliances included more than we needed, from a coffee machine and toaster to a juicer. It could have been a bit cleaner, though. There seemed to be spots the cleaning staff either didn't have time to get to or overlooked.

We stayed in the main villa, a lovely place that was worth what we paid. It has three bedrooms for up to six people, a decent-sized living room, and a good-sized kitchen and dining room. The south-facing view is amazing, and the pool is great. It's also quite quiet. The villa is right in the centre of Puerto del Carmen, within walking distance of pretty much everything. A couple of drawbacks: the WiFi doesn't reach throughout the whole villa, and mobile signal isn't great, since it's down by the beach and lower than the main street.

The view from the patio or balcony was beautiful. We watched surfers, fishermen, scuba divers and other water sports, and it made for a really relaxing setting. Sun loungers were provided, and there was a parasol in the room if needed. We stayed ten days in a spacious, well-equipped two-bedroom apartment. The kitchen had what we needed to eat in, including crockery, cutlery, pans, a fridge-freezer, and an integrated microwave and oven. In the lounge there was a sofa, two chairs and a coffee table, plus a Smart TV for the evenings. There was also a modern Dyson fan for when it got too hot. The cleaners were meticulous, efficient and very friendly. They came every day except Sunday, cleaning, making the beds and leaving fresh towels. Antonio, the owner, was welcoming and friendly without being imposing. It was a very relaxing stay.

The apartment was cosy and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen, and the staff were very friendly. Check-in was easy. Its balcony has the best sea view, so we didn't need to go to restaurants. The water is just a short stone's throw away. Apt Cabrera is in a quiet part of Puerto del Carmen, but the busier areas are still within walking distance. Fabulous apartments, I can happily recommend them.
