Good value for the money, and the owner was very helpful.

The landlord’s communication wasn’t adequate. The furniture was worn, some kitchen equipment was broken and one window wouldn’t lock. I was concerned about security, especially after reading negative reviews on Booking.com saying money had been stolen from the complex. I never stayed in the apartment and lost the money I’d paid, which the landlord kept. I found somewhere else to stay. The landlord accused me of lying, but I can’t see what I’d gain from that. I can only warn people against booking here and urge them to read the less favourable reviews carefully.

We found this accommodation on our adventure in Lanzarote and were very happy with our stay. The service was welcoming and really friendly. It’s easy to get to and ideally placed for exploring the island’s landscapes. A fantastic experience. Thank you so much, Julia!

The white walls outside could use a fresh coat of paint and don’t look very nice. Inside, the lighting is awkward: there’s only a bright ceiling light in the living room, so a bedside lamp has to be moved around whenever you need softer light. There were only six sun loungers for about 12 apartments. Guests regularly claimed them early with towels or just kept them on their own terraces. After we raised the issue, two more loungers were delivered. We also had small ants and other tiny insects suddenly appear in the living room, apparently attracted by something. The bathroom had unpleasant smells from the drain or toilet throughout our stay. The promised water bottle was missing, as were the advertised toiletries. Over 12 days, the bed linens were never changed, and the towels, one large and one small per person, were only replaced after we asked on the second-to-last day. The arrival was a bad start. It took 15 minutes and countless tries to open the key box, and the key inside was for the wrong apartment. Several phone calls were needed before we could get into the right one, which turned out to be very sparsely furnished.
