Hotel del Prado

This is only about the restaurant. We left disgusted after just a starter because the main course was inedible, with chicken still raw in the middle, for example. They charged us 50 euros for that awful meal. The decor is old and kitschy and badly needs an overhaul. The staff seemed undertrained, unhelpful, and rude at best. Worst restaurant we've ever been to. Never again.

The landscape is beautiful and the pool is nice, but I won't return. I paid almost 90€ a night for one person without breakfast, which felt far too expensive. I had booked a comfort room but was put in a tiny, hot room under the roof, with the explanation that it would be quieter there. The air conditioning only worked from the second day, and sounds came through easily from the neighboring room because the connecting door was so thin. The first night was impossible: groups of teenage football players made terrible noise until 1 am, and even earplugs didn't help. They should have known that noise would be a problem and not rented rooms to other guests while the groups were staying there.

We found the hotel quite pleasant, and it was better than we expected from the reviews. Even though it was quite full, it stayed very quiet. After a long day hiking, the pool was just what we needed. We'll be back.

The food was tasty, the staff were friendly, and we were happy with our stay. I would update the bathroom, which feels a little dated, and improve the sound insulation between the room and the walkway because you can hear everything.
