Singular Stays Puzol Beach III

The pitches are a decent size, and the staff made a nice first impression at reception. Beyond that, it's a pretty average campsite: the toilets, showers and other facilities work, but they're showing their age. Having to pay extra for WiFi feels wrong in 2026.

We got a Cottage XL for six nights with our toddlers. It was modern, clean and very spacious, and the pool and baby pools were beautiful. The playground was incredible, and the bouncy castle kept us busy for most of our time there. It was great value for money, and I highly recommend it. The beach and promenade were a beautiful three-minute walk away, and Valencia city was under a 20-minute drive, which we made every day. I took off a star because we couldn't get any laundry done in the six days: one machine was broken, and people kept leaving clothes in the others overnight. Staff told us to empty them, but we didn't want to handle other people's dirty clothes.

The location is good, near the beach and not too far from Valencia. We stayed for three days, but got unlucky with a pitch that had no shade, even though there are plenty of trees elsewhere. The bathrooms were fairly clean but not great, and none of the taps I tried worked properly. They were those automatic shutoff ones that stop almost right away, so you have to keep pressing them every five seconds. There are three pools, one for babies and toddlers and two larger, deeper ones, plus a small slide. I didn't use the restaurant, so I can't comment on it. I gave it three stars because 75€ a day in July for a camper van, two adults and two kids feels steep for the facilities and what you get.

During our five-night stay in October ‘25, mosquitoes were everywhere at the campsite. In my opinion, it was because the toilet blocks and pitch areas weren't cleaned and maintained properly. We never saw the toilets get a thorough clean, and the ladies' showers were gruesome, with broken floor tiles and grimy walls. We did see cleaners standing around chatting for long stretches instead of working. The whole block smelled bad. The washing-up area wasn't clean either, and all the sinks were missing their spouts, leaving only small-bore pipes. Spanish families seem to come for the weekend, with constant shouting and children screaming, so there was no chilled holiday atmosphere. The campsite facilities are nowhere near four-star standard, and I can't imagine what it would cost to upgrade them. We won't be back.
