There are only 3 bathrooms for the whole hostel, which isn’t enough. Worse, after staying here a week ago in a 3-bed private room, I woke up with my hands and feet covered in bed bug bites. My friend had bites all over their body, and I went to emergency two days later to get mine treated by medical staff. I learned another pilgrim in a different room that same night was bitten too. This place needs fumigating. I wouldn’t recommend staying here for the rest of the season.

We were a group of 5 and got our own bunk room, which was lucky. The albergue looks over a square in a prime spot in this very sweet town. The host was kind, the kitchen was well equipped, and the washing machine and dryer were cheap. Sheets and a towel were provided. It felt very homey.

We paid for a private room with a shared bathroom, and it was well worth it. Our room had windows on two sides and a balcony with a small clothes dryer, so our laundry dried in the sun. The building is lovely, central, and quiet at night, right on the Camino. We weren’t sure how to get in when we arrived, but the owner came quickly after we called the number we had. One thing, the cleaner needs to sweep under the beds too, not just around them.

The woman who welcomed me was kind and helpful. It’s a lovely hostel in a gorgeous city, with a fair price for what you get.
