Hotel Abrego Reinosa

The staff were very kind and seemed willing to get us almost anything we asked for, and the bedrooms were warm and cozy. The clean sheets and towels were changed during our stay. Still, the room needed extra cleaning when we arrived, and even after asking, there was dust on the water heaters and baseboards and grime in the bedside drawers. The place is in a very good location, but the facilities could use some work. It's reasonable value if you want to spend very little and stay just 1-2 nights. Breakfast was limited to pre-made sliced bread and packaged cakes, with no cereal available, though perhaps they can provide some if you ask. The rooms were so small we couldn't open the wardrobe fully without hitting the bed.

We went in winter and the room was warm, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom roomy and clean. The location is excellent too. The owners and staff were so welcoming, and breakfast was fantastic for the price. It's nice to find a place that charges fairly and still gives you quality service. We'll be back! 👍

The room was disgusting: hair everywhere, dust, tobacco on the floor and mold on the walls. There was no hot water for my shower in the morning; they said it had broken the night before. I booked through Booking.com, then at check-in they insisted on payment upfront or I couldn't go in. Since they can charge directly for prepaid bookings, that seemed strange to me. It made me wonder if they wanted the money before I saw the room, perhaps so I couldn't leave after seeing it. They charged me for the room as it was.

It's right in central Reinosa, and I thought the price was reasonable for what you get. The manager was lovely and flexible about check-in because she had an event. The bed was comfortable, facilities were good and everything was very clean. The only downside is that you can hear through the walls, though that's due to the old building.
