The host was so friendly, easy to reach, and full of useful recommendations. The area is lovely for walks, and the apartments are beautifully furnished and welcoming. My one complaint was the weak Wi-Fi and limited cell phone coverage. Still, I’d highly recommend staying here.

If you want to be surrounded by the countryside and nature, the location is hard to beat. Santaya is spacious, comfortable, and welcoming, a great place to switch off from the world. The owner was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed to make the most of the stay.

José Luis was incredibly hospitable, and we’ll definitely return. We had a spectacular New Year’s Eve there. The house felt welcoming, with plenty of room for everyone and a very large living room, just what we needed with such a big group.

There were 17 of us from the family last weekend, and we all loved the place. The garden, decor, big dining room, and beautiful barbecue with a bread oven were highlights. José Luis was attentive and friendly. A wonderful experience, highly recommended. Thanks, José Luis!

We’ve come back for the second year running, and for New Year’s Eve again. This area is a lovely place to welcome the new year, especially in a house like this. José Luis is fantastic and makes sure we have everything we need. The house is wonderfully equipped and really warm, so anyone expecting it to be cold is mistaken. We had a fantastic few days, with lots to do nearby. We also recommend ordering lunch or dinner from the Asturias restaurant in Vegadeo, the quality and value are excellent. We’ll be back and will recommend it to lots of people who enjoy this kind of place.
