The only things we liked were the new bedding and being close to Vega beach. The house itself was damp, with the highway directly above it, and that wasn't mentioned anywhere. The pool was filthy; the rental agency came to clean it, but the water stayed green and cloudy, so we couldn't swim. The garden was full of rubbish and very dirty too. There was no dishwasher despite the listing, and the oven didn't work. Some fittings, including the electrical outlets, were outdated. There weren't enough glasses or plates for four of us, so we had to ask for more. We did get them, but the whole thing was inconvenient and unpleasant. It's far too expensive for what it offers. Airbnb gave us a partial refund after we sent photos of the actual condition. I strongly advise against staying here if you want peace and quiet.

We had to drive an extra 25 km to Llanes to pick up the keys, and nobody mentioned another hassle: the water cuts off twice a day. To get it back, you have to go outside to the pump and press a hard-to-see button. That happened at 8 a.m., just after we'd woken up, which was really annoying. The house is isolated, and this was the biggest problem for us. There were other letdowns too. Kitchen supplies were limited, with one towel per person and very few utensils and glasses. We asked for knives because there were only two; they said they'd bring some, but never did. Cleaning could have been better, with cobwebs around the house and missed details. The porch needs work as well: the bench is very old, and the walls are stained and peeling and need paint. The house is large, the poolside porch is great, and the beds are very comfortable, but I don't think I'd rent it again.
It's generally a good house, though there were a few minor cleaning issues that weren't pleasant to come across. There are lots of stairs inside and out in the garden, and none have safety barriers, so I wouldn't consider it suitable for young children.
The owner was friendly and attentive, and the location suited us perfectly: quiet, with very few neighbors, plus a pool and garden. The house stayed cool, and we were comfortable in most ways. We couldn't get the internet working, though, and the TV was small.
A peaceful place with nice decor and a small pool outside. The garden could use some attention, but it's a good place to unwind.
