I paid 90 euros for a single room on the second floor. It was small, but had everything I needed, plus two towels. Breakfast was good, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The town was packed with tourists, and it was high season, so I thought the price was worth it.

The staff at Verdemar were so friendly and helpful, and the location in Ribadesella was just right. Our room had what we needed for a comfortable night, and breakfast was a nice start to the day. We had a great stay and would come back. Thanks for a lovely visit!

It’s right by the beach, with great staff and nice surroundings. The hotel was just as nice as the others around here, but a bit cheaper, and the location was excellent. I also appreciated the great off-street parking for my motorbike.

I was booked into this hotel by a walking holiday company and wouldn’t have picked it myself. I was charged for bed and breakfast, but there was no breakfast, and nobody warned me in advance. The hotel says it has Wi-Fi, but I had to ask reception for the login. The receptionist took my phone and typed in the password for me, which felt a bit odd. A public notice would have been better.

Clean rooms, a good location and a friendly welcome from reception made for a very good stay. It was a shame the bar was closed because of the COVID restrictions, but that’s life. I’d stay here again.
