The riverfront spot made it easy to wander around the little town, and the staff made us feel right at home. The hotel is old and full of memorabilia, which I found fascinating. Our room was quiet and clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the small bathroom had a good shower with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good, especially the coffee. It is a bit dated, but everything worked well for us.

The owner was so helpful and accommodating, even when my friend became ill and needed a different room. She managed to move her in the middle of summer, when the popular hotel was full. The place was clean and the service was excellent. Some rooms look out over both the sea and mountains, and all the views are interesting. A unique Spanish experience. A big thank you to the owner.

The staff brought a lot of warmth to our stay and made everything easy and comfortable. There are lovely views and plenty of charm throughout this beautiful old hotel. It seems the last major renovation was in the 1980s, and the designer must have wanted to preserve its 1950s look. I mean that as a compliment. The amenities are basic, but for the money it is excellent value. I can't imagine finding a more charming place in such a good location with such welcoming staff.
